So Lewis Hamilton won the Italian Gran Prix. but there are allegations that the race was rigged so he would win.

Post Colonial research
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racism_in_the_United_Kingdom
taking a look at racism in the UK we are told by The British Crime Survey that in 2004, 87,000 people from black or minority ethnic communities said they had been a victim of a racially motivated crime. Thats incredibly steep for somewhere considered a leading nation in the 21st Century. Also some of the laws passed and politics introduced in the 80s still had impact on peoples lives as the private sector still has no anti-discrimination legislation.
One argument of increasing racism is attacks like the 7th July London Bombings where a surge in hate crime was reported by the police.

This 70s TV show is quite astonishing for BBC nowadays however I can understand some of the origins of the jokes like mocking pronunciation but there are other jokes or comments that are extremely inappropriate like the name of the teacher 'Brown' causing confusion or insinuating racial inequality. Its certainly interesting to see what people found funny and entertaining during that era but disturbing as most of what is said would cause a media and political frenzy.

Hmm not sure if this is comedy..
around 17.20 he discusses ethical traditions especially food and how stereotypically black people just eat chicken and dont know about vegetables (according to white americans they dont) but his sense of humour that questions why people think certain things all be it with a lot of swear words... but i understand his confusion and explanation about interactions with naive and stupid people especially in San Francisco at the beginning.
