Feminism in 21st Century - Celebrity nudes

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/jennifer-lawrence-naked-photos-spark-fear-of-mass-celebrity-hacking-9702902.html

now this isnt a new issue, celebrities have nude photos taken all the time and sometimes they're leaked by someone looking to make some quick money or news storm...

the fact it was so many celebrities and from a so called secure location is whats causing the controversy

Laura Mulvey: Visual Pleasure and Narrative Cinema

She also says 'the male figure cannot bear the burden of sexual objectification'

additional feminist material

Caitlin Moran talking about the small issues in your own home that needs to be addressed.
which feminism does.
she wants issues like comfort eating or man hating to be re-evaluated so it is not just associated with women or the old fashioned feminist.

the debate over who does what in the house will always incorporate feminism and possibly men saying they are feminists when they dont do any of the cooking or cleaning

Germain Greer makes an interesting discussion on offensive words and their actual meaning. but when speaking to the public, the overriding comment for me was "a lady cant say the C word, because then she's not a lady" .... how completely archaic. if the C word is slang for female genitalia why shouldn't we say it? and who decides that certain words are offensive, why isn't hobnob rude?
